I've recently worked as a contract designer for the design studio start up, Studio Early Birds.  I have led the redesign of the company website (www.earlybirdscalifornia.com), handled a few projects for clients, written the majority of our English advertising, and created a few graphics along the way.
A look at the final product.

It was a rewarding ending to a project that the client held close to her heart.  After consultations on how to best carry across her words of affirmation and intentions for the user, we followed this process:
Because this product is meant to be a functional journal, we had to consider what the user would most interact with: the lined paper.  After holding a small poll of journal users, reflecting on the flexible style of the writing prompts, and printing a few samples, we settled on the bottom right option, to allow for the suggestion of a grid if needed, with a light enough print to allow users to ignore the lines if they so prefer.
The Perspective pagination sample (~1/5 of the journal) with the final text.  After editing the client's writing and choosing a page style, I organized the writings into an order that would be the most helpful for a new journal user, with tips and tricks at the front after a Table of Contents, and affirmations every eight pages for inspiration.

Logo designs for a client.
This is an informational poster for the studio's blog that I designed and illustrated.  The studio promotes designing for lifestyles that make one happy and healthy, so I commonly devised different angles to write about concerning healthy design and interior styling.
This ad is based on a yoga illustration I created so that the studio could support and network with yoga communities and studios.  Intended for use on Instagram.
This second ad is more of a run-down of what Studio Early Birds is capable of creating, and the work we like to do.
Company flyers and business cards to be distributed around Los Angeles.
Flybuddha is a prospective yoga and meditation studio company that hired Studio Early Birds to create a visual presentation and floor plan design for potential investors.  I created most of this presentation, including jewel illustrations, photo editing of store facades, and the written descriptions of the design themes.
